Abraham, Testament of
Abraham, Testament of. An apocryphal Greek writing describing how Abraham, taken to heaven by the Archangel Michael, has a vision of the two roads leading to hell and paradise; he is brought back to earth and finally borne by the Angel of Death to paradise. It may date from the 2nd cent. AD, but opinions differ about its date and whether its author was a Christian or a Jew.
