Suwannee

Suwannee, USA Georgia‐Florida: a river originally called Guasaca Esqui ‘River of Reeds’. The present name is said to be derived from the Spanish San Juanee ‘Little St John’. There is a city in Florida, which lies at the river's mouth, with this name.
