Son et Lumière
Son et Lumière, outdoor spectacle presented at night at historic buildings or in natural settings. It originated in France, the French name meaning ‘sound and light’. Recorded sound (words and music together with gunfire, thunder, and other special effects) is combined with light from floodlights, searchlights, and laser beams to provide an appropriate historical narrative.
