Sanger's reagent
Sanger's reagent A solution of 1-fluoro-2–4-dinitrobenzene, used for the chromatographic detection and quantification of amino acids, peptides, and proteins. Its effectiveness is based on the reaction of the reagent with free alpha- and epsilon-amino groups to form yellow dinitrophenyl derivatives.
