San Remo
San Remo, Liguria/Italy San Romulo Named after St Romulus, bishop of Genoa in the 4th century. The shortened version of the name, adopted in the 15th century, may be associated with the mountain hermitage (in Italian, eremo) to which Romulus is said to have retired.
