Sabre
Sabre F-86 the first U.S. Air Force swept-wing fighter, and the aircraft that opposed the MiG-15 during the Korean War. Although the early models of the F-86 were slower and heavier than the Soviet fighter, more powerful engines and the redesigned wings significantly improved the capabilities of later types.
