chilli

chilli (chili) Hot, red pepper. It is an annual with oval leaves and white or greenish-white flowers that produce red or green seedpods. When dried, the pods are ground to powder. Cayenne pepper comes from the same plant. Height: 2– 2.5m (6–8ft). Family Solanaceae; species Capsicum annuum.
