Remus
Remus ♂ According to ancient Roman tradition, the name of the brother of Romulus, co-founder with him of the city of Rome. In America this rare given name is associated particularly with the ‘Uncle Remus’ stories of Joel Chandler Harris (1848–1908), Uncle Remus being a Black who is the narrator of the stories.
