Raptor
Raptor F-22 the world's first stealth air-to-air multimission fighter, virtually undetectable by radar, deadly at a distance, superb at close dogfighting, and capable of precision-strike ground attack. It will carry existing air-to-air weapons, including AIM advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles and AIM-9 Sidewinder short-range missiles, and others that are being developed. It is scheduled to be operational late in 2005.

raptor
raptor a dromaeosaurid dinosaur, especially velociraptor or utahraptor. The word raptor (from Latin, meaning ‘bird of prey’) is recorded in English from the 19th century, but in this sense comes directly from a shortened form of velociraptor, used originally by palaeontologists and popularized by Michael Crichton' thriller Jurassic Park and the Spielberg film (1993) based on it.
