PTFE
PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene, resistant to heat and many chemicals, and with low friction, used to make non‐stick coatings for cooking utensils. Discovered by Roy Plunkett, working for Du Pont in 1938; marketed as Teflon and Fluon.
