Ordzhonikidze, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine All towns are named after Grigory (Sergo) Ordzhonikidze. One town in Russia formerly with this name has been renamed Denisovka and one in Tajikistan is now Kofarnihon. Perhaps the most famous Russian city temporarily bearing this name is now Vladikavkaz.
