Nonesuch Press

Nonesuch Press, a publishing firm established in 1923 by Francis Meynell (1891–1975, book designer, publisher, and journalist, son of Wilfrid and Alice Meynell), Vera Mendel, and D. Garnett, for the production of books of high quality of content and presentation, at a moderate price. Not strictly a private press, it shared many of the aims of private presses.
