Michael Field pseud. used by two English authors, Katherine Harris Bradley, 1846-1914, and her niece Edith Emma Cooper, 1862-1913, who collaborated on numerous literary works, including lyrics and poetic tragedies. Although their work was praised by such contemporaries as Robert Browning and George Moore, it is almost forgotten today.

Field, Michael, the pseudonym of Katharine Bradley (1846–1914) and her niece Edith Cooper (1862–1913). Bradley, born in Birmingham and educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, became deeply attached to her invalid sister's daughter Edith; they shared their lives and studied and travelled widely. Together they adopted the name of Michael Field with the publication of Callirrho, and Fair Rosamund (1884). They produced more than twenty volumes of verse drama and poetry.
