Chase, Mary Coyle
Chase, Mary Coyle (1907–81), Colorado playwright, whose fantastic comedy about an inebriate whose companion is a huge, imaginary rabbit, Harvey (1944), won a Pulitzer Prize. Other plays include Now You've Done It (1937), The Next Half Hour (1945), Bernardine (1952), Mrs. McThing (1952), Mickey (1969), and Cocktails with Mimi (1974). She also wrote books for children.
