Kuybyshev, Armenia, Russia 1. Named after Valerian Kuybyshev†. See Samara.2. Russia (Novosibirsk): founded in 1722 as Kainsk, it was renamed in 1935 after the death of Valerian Kuybyshev† who was in exile here in 1907–9, during which time he participated in revolutionary activities.
