Khorramābād
Khorramābād, Iran Two cities have this name which means ‘Place of Joy’ from khorram ‘glad’ or ‘joyful’ and ābād. Khorram can also mean ‘green’ or ‘fresh’ and is much used to describe particularly pleasant places.
