Fuller, Isaac

Fuller, Isaac (1606–72), English scene painter, who studied in Paris under François Perrier, probably at the new Academy there. He worked for the Restoration theatre and in 1669 painted a scene of Paradise for Dryden's Tyrannic Love, later suing Drury Lane for payment. He was awarded £335. 10s. od.—a large sum in those days—but his scene may also have been used for other plays.
