Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer® The BROWSER marketed by the Microsoft Corporation. It was developed as a response to the success of similar products launched by competitors. It is now the most popular browser. During the 1990s there was a BROWSER WAR between Microsoft and the Netscape Corporation who marketed a browser known as NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR. This lead to accusations of Microsoft taking advantage of their monopoly position in order to force a competitor out of the browser market.
