Hari

Hari

Hari. Divine manifestation, in Hinduism, especially in the forms of Viṣṇu and Kṛṣṇa, but of innumerable different figures also—including ṛṣis and lawgivers. Because Hari is the means through which Brahman becomes manifest (Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.22), he becomes equated with the personal form of God in general (īśvara).
