Teutons
Teutons A Germanic tribe, believed to be from Holstein or Jutland, who migrated to southern Gaul and northern Italy with the Cimbri in the late 2nd century BC. In 102 they were defeated by MARIUS at Aquae Sextiae (Aix-en-Provence). They disappeared from history but the name Teuton survived as a synonym for German.
