Gaussian distribution
Gaussian distribution(Gaussian curve, normal distribution) The values of a variable (x) are distributed systematically around their mean (x̄) according to a frequency f, given by: f = 1/(s(2π)−2) exp (−(x − x̄2)/2s2), where s is the standard deviation. It is named after the German mathematician Karl Friedrich Gauss (1777–1855).
