1. Wife of Ogma, the god of eloquence. Daughter of Dian Cécht, a god of healing, she was attributed some powers as a patron of crafts. Usually thought to be the mother of Tuireann and sometimes the mother of Cairbre mac Ethne, the satirist. 2. Mistress of Cúchulainn, to whom he gave a ring in appreciation of their lovemaking. 3. 3. A woman of the Fianna Éireann. |
