Ésa, Esa, Ess, Es. In variants found outside the widely known texts of Tochmarc Étaíne[The Wooing of Étaín] and Togail Bruidne Da Derga[The Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel],Ésa is the daughter of Eochaid Airem and Étaín (1). In such versions she becomes the mother of Mes Buachalla, the beautiful foundling who mothers Conaire Mór.
