Edinburgh Conference

Edinburgh Conference (1910). The World Missionary Conference was significant for its presentation of the ideal of world-evangelization and as inaugurating the modern Ecumenical Movement. By its creation of the International Missionary Council it led to increased co-operation between missionary societies.
