Dimetrodon angelensis
Dimetrodon angelensis Large, specialized, meat-eating reptile from the Lower Permian of North America. Dimetrodon had a synapsid-type skull and is grouped amongst the pelycosaurs. It grew to over 3 m in length and is noted for the presence of a large sail on its back. The skull of this carnivore was high and narrow, with the teeth differentiated and well adapted to predatory habits.

Dimetrodon angelensis
Dimetrodon angelensis(subclass Synapsida, order Pelycosauria) A large, specialized, meat-eating reptile from the Lower Permian of N. America. Dimetrodon grew to over 3 m in length and is noted for the presence of a large sail on its back. The skull of this carnivore was high and narrow, with the teeth differentiated and well adapted to predatory habits.
