Ring des Nibelungen, Der, a series of four music dramas by Richard Wagner. Das Rheingold; Die Walküre (The Valkyrie); Siegfried; and Gotterdämmerung (The Twilight of the Gods). They are indirectly based on the Nibelungenlied.
