Crimthann
Crimthann, Crimthan, Criomthann, Criofan, Crimhthann, Cremthann, Criomhthann [Ir., fox]. One of the most popular names in early Ireland, borne by many kings of Munster, at least ten figures in the Fenian Cycle, and at least one saint. The best-known is probably Crimthann Mór mac Fidaig, the pre-Patrician king. In addition, Colum Cille was named Crimthann before he adopted a Christian name.
