Cranbrook

Cranbrook. The Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI, was founded in the 1920s under the influence of the Arts-and-Crafts movement. Buildings for its campus were designed by the Saarinens. Its importance lies in its promotion of modern design, many practitioners having been associated with it over the years.
