Clodagh
Clodagh ♀ Of recent Irish origin. It is the name of a river in Tipperary, and seems to have been arbitrarily transferred to use as a given name. There may be some association in the minds of givers with the Latin name Clodia, a variant of Claudia borne by the mistress of the Roman poet Catullus. It is borne by the Northern Irish pop singer Clodagh Rogers (b. 1947) and is occasionally used in the wider English-speaking world.
