Castlereagh

Castlereagh, Australia, UK UK (Northern Ireland): a district with the Irish name of An Caisleán Riabhach meaning ‘Striped Castle’ from caisleán ‘castle’ and ria(bhach) ‘striped’, the Anglicized version of which is reagh. In place‐names, however, ria can often mean ‘grey’.
