Carnot

Carnot, Central African Republic, USA Central African Republic: named after Sadi Carnot (1837–94), fourth President of the Third (French) Republic (1887–94) who had just been assassinated. At the time the town lay within Oubangui‐Chari, proclaimed as a French colony that year.
