Cameron
Cameron ♂, ♀ (Scottish) Transferred use of the surname, which in the Highlands is derived from Gaelic cam sròn ‘crooked nose’, and in the Lowlands is apparently an assimilated form of a Norman baronial name derived from Cambernon in Normandy. It is very popular as a boy's name, and now also occurs as a girl's name.
