Brazil current

Brazil current Warm water, forming the oceanic boundary current that flows southward along the Brazilian coastal margin. It is marked by its high salinity (36.0–37.0 parts per thousand), its low velocity, and its shallowness (100–200 m) in comparison to its northern hemisphere equivalent, the Gulf Stream.
