boomslang

boomslang Venomous snake of the African savannas. It is green or brown with a slender body and a small head. Commonly found in trees or bushes, it lies in wait for lizards and birds, often with the front of its body extended motionless in mid-air. Length: to 1.5m (4.9ft). Species Dispholidus typus.
