Balthasar

Balthasar

Balthasar ♂ Name ascribed in medieval Christian tradition to one of the three wise men of the Orient who brought gifts to the infant Jesus. The name is a variant of that of the biblical king Belshazzar and means ‘Baal protect the king’. It has never been a common given name in the English-speaking world.

Variant: Balthazar.
