Artëm, Primorskiy Territory/Russia Named after Fëdor Sergeyev (1883–1921), an early Bolshevik leader in the Donetsk region who was nicknamed Artëm. He had a son who was given the name Artëm; when his father was killed his mother was ill and Stalin^† adopted the boy.
