Agabus One of several Christian prophets resident in Jerusalem who visited the Church at Antioch and predicted a severe famine (Acts 11: 28) during the reign of the emperor Claudius (possibly 46 CE). Agabus also prophesied Paul's imminent imprisonment (Acts 21: 10).
