Adam Yauch

MCA

MCA Trademark; Abbrev. for micro channel architecture. An IBM bus structure for personal computers that was introduced in 1987 with the IBM PS/2, models 50 and above, and is the successor to the structures used in the IBM PCs. It was made necessary by the requirements of 32-bit microprocessors. See also EISA.
