Ornithischia One of two orders of Mesozoic dinosaurs, distinguished primarily on the basis of a bird-like pelvis (see PELVIC GIRDLE; and PUBIS). Ornithischian dinosaurs were exclusively vegetarian and produced both bipedal forms (Ornithopoda) and four-footed forms.
