Cladoselache
Cladoselache A genus of shark-like fishes, recorded from Europe and N. America, that were 0.5–1.2 m long and are noted for the presence of a large ventral fin. The fishes existed during the Devonian and Carboniferous Periods and numerous specimens have been collected from the Cleveland Shales (Upper Devonian) in N. America.
