Okay, the title sounds western and there is a cattle drive but this whimsical romance is set in the Irish countryside in 1939. Mark Doran (Keeslar) and his neighbors get together to drive their cattle to the railway (40 miles distant) when the local buyer tries to cheat them. He's also in love with a lassie (St. Alban) but is worried about her fearsome father (Bergin). Maybe, if Mark's plan succeeds, he'll have the confidence to get the girl as well. Based on the novel by John B. Keane. 98m/C VHS . Matt Keeslar, Patrick Bergin, Brenda Fricker, Nancy St. Alban, George Hearn, Paul Ronan, Dermot Martin, Mark Lambert; D: Brent Shields; W: Walter Bernstein; C: Shelly Johnson; M: Mark McKenzie. TV
