The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Music

Flood, (William Henry) Grattan (b Lismore, Ireland, 1859; d Enniscorthy, 1928). Irish organist and writer. Org., Enniscorthy Cath., 1895–1928. Noted collector of Irish folk-tunes; ed. Moore's Irish Melodies and wrote memoir of John Field (Dublin, 1920). Also wrote histories of Irish mus. and monographs on musicians who visited Ireland.
