Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar libros de fÃsica general con respecto a la presentaciÃ³n de la teorÃa cinÃ©tico molecular con unaperspectiva basada en la Historia y FilosofÃa de la ciencia. Con este fin se analizaron 30 libros de texto de fÃsica general con nivel universitario. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la mayorÃa de los textos analizados ignoraron la importancia de las suposiciones de MAXWELL que permitieron simplificar y estudiar el movimiento de las molÃ©culas de los gases.
