The "bread basket of Nigeria" is open for business, and as an added incentive, the state government is pulling all the stops to make investors even more welcome.

The Benue State government has made the participation of investors an integral part of its strategy for development. Although the state has been known for its agricultural potential for decades, the planned growth pattern that the state governor, Chief George Akume, initiated when he took office six years ago had industrial expansion as one of the core pillars.
