El proposito de este articulo es describir e interpretar la forma en que la poblacion aymara del altiplano del norte de Chile piensa y practica la division del trabajo por género. Me interesa analizar las relaciones que establecen mujeres y nombres dentro de los hogares y conocer la teoria aymar a de la division del trabajo y de la diferencia sexual. A través de la description y anâlisis de la distribucion y valoracion del trabajo entre las distintas categories aymara del ciclo vital de los integrantes del hogar, sostengo que se dan relaciones de intercambio que conducen a desigualdades ...
