Jorge Mendoza, who in 1998 became the first Mexican citizen to compete in an SSHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle event, is focusing on a return to the sport in Top Alcohol Dragster. Mendoza found his 6-foot-2-inch frame a hindrance to his motorcycle career and retired from the class after just four events, but not before showing his racing skills. Mendoza recently attended Frank Hawley's NHRA Drag Racing School in Gainesville for some get-acquainted laps and will return to the school later this summer...
