More effort spent to function
Or even to get by
Extreme is the unction
To which the moments fly.
Do sundials seem depressing
When the light grows less?
Do you lean towards confessing?
What will you confess?
Superannuated children,
See us jump and run
Into Time's teeming cauldron
To simmer until we're done.
Beauty remains attractive
And makes the forehead burn
But is not...
