Lentz to head Chileda
|
The vice president of operations for Chileda of La Crosse has been appointed its president and chief operating officer.
Kirby Lentz, who has beer, with Chileda for 21 years, succeeds Don Heidel, a Chileda founder who retired April 15 after 33 years.
Lentz becomes the third president of the center, a residential and day treatment program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Chileda was founded by Heidel, Rayma Ditson-Sommer and Rolf Sommer in Stevens Point, Wis., in 1973. The trio moved the center to La Crosse in 1977, and now is at 1020 Mississippi St.
