From the first day that Murray insurance Agency opened its doors, in Scranton, in 1981, with Brian J. Murray and his assistants in a small, unfurnished office, an unseen force seemed to be guiding the company's direction.

The force was the Murray customer. Now two decades later, according to Christine Oliver, president, Murray Insurance has thousands of personal clients and approximately 1,600 commercial clients. And as the agency celebrates its 20th anniversary Murray clients remain where everyone in the 47-employee company knows they belong - at the top of the organizational chart.
