CPS kicks off fund drive for UNCF

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) in alliance with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) will kick off a $1.1 million fund drive next Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency, where CPS targets to raise more than $100,000 than last year.
The Chicago UNCF Area Development Director Lisa Rollins said the outcome of the Hyatt event will likely affect the number of students to obtain four-year college scholarships covering tuition and other fees.
